OUR FOUNDATION IS EDUCATION!
*Becoming a part of our team at Blessings Beauty Center means that you get the benefit of in-salon training from basic to advanced to all our staff members, providing you with hair styling techniques, hair coloring and hair cutting skills and more, that your clients want. Most of these classes will be taught by our staff but there will also be classes collaborated with an outside educator to bring you the best of education here at our salon. Once hired, all of our stylists go through our Basic Training Boot-camp learning the in's and out's of working at Blessings Beauty Center as well as our Signature styling methods.
Joining us as a Jr. Stylist means that you automatically become a part of our Emerging Stylist Academy, an in-salon career development and mentoring program that will support you as a new hairstylist as you transition from beauty school to salon life. This program usually takes three to six months to complete. After that, we continue to provide intermediate, and advanced classes to keep you on the cutting edge with your clients and career.
**Requirements: You must be 18 years of age and have a current Texas Cosmetologist or Barbers license work at the salon or enter our Emerging Stylist Academy. Candidates who are still attending beauty school may apply for an apprentice position until obtaining their license.
